Three programs to continue my cybersecurity education after HCC

University of South Florida (USF)

Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity

Bellini College of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Computing

Program 1

USF offers one of Florida's first bachelor's degrees in cybersecurity through the newly established Bellini College of AI, Cybersecurity and Computing. The program covers core principles of network defense, ethical hacking, digital forensics, and security policy. Students gain hands-on experience in state-of-the-art labs and have access to Cyber Florida, a state-funded cybersecurity research center. USF is designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense by the NSA.

University of Central Florida (UCF)

B.S. in Information Technology — Accelerated BS to Cyber Security & Privacy MS Track

College of Engineering and Computer Science

Program 2

UCF offers an accelerated pathway that allows students to earn both a bachelor's degree in Information Technology and a Master of Science in Cyber Security and Privacy in less time than pursuing each degree separately. The program covers advanced topics like cryptography, network security architecture, and privacy engineering. UCF is recognized as one of the top cybersecurity programs in the nation and offers extensive research opportunities through its Cyber Defense and Security Lab.

FIU's B.S. in Cybersecurity emphasizes the core principles of cybersecurity, including network security, cryptography, ethical hacking, and digital forensics.
